Dinner Party

OMG dinner party for 11 tonight... should get organised - but instead of doing anything useful for the dinner party I started making Jam... odd!

Is the world against me…

I was going to have soup for lunch today, and decided as a treat to get myself a bread roll. At lunchtime I jumped in my car and drove down to the shops and bought a roll – I was pretty excited cause there is nothing better than fresh bread and soup on a wintery Melbourne day. I went back to my car, placed the roll on the top of the car, put my other incidental shopping items in the back of the car and raced back to the office to enjoy my lunch.

Moments later in the car park at work I am trying to find my bread roll, but it’s no where to be seen, can’t find it in the car, not in my other shopping bags, not in my handbag… it was missing… I suddenly realised that I don’t remember taking it off the top of my car and placing it safely in the car – I must have left it on the roof… thinking of strangers laughing at the bread roll on the roof girl is still breaking my heart – plus I had nothing to go with my soup, which would normally be fine but I’d built this bread roll up and now am pretty depressed… Next time I’ll have to safely secure said bread roll within my handbag and not leave it at the mercy of today’s uncaring world…

It's 4 in the morning and I'm hanging up washing in the backyard...

Thankfully however, Ned (our new puppy) finally went outside... yes! So much better than doing his business on the floor inside, every time I wake up I'm scared that I'm going to step in something which forces me to walk around the house staring intently at the floor before declaring the all clear... or in some occasions the land mine factor... ick!

Anyway, Ned is adorable and well worth the effort, I can tell we're going to have lots of fun... what a cute little dude!

Bevan took me on the restaurant tram! It was our 2 year anniversary last Monday and Bev secretly organised for us to go on the restaurant tram... it was great. They gave us so much food I almost died... plus they keep filling up your drinks all the time!

Not much going on right at the minute, other than the fact that I'm pretty happy! We are moving into our new place in two weeks, which will be pretty cool. Plus I spoke to the lovely Sarah last night, who sounds well and that makes me even happier!

How can I blog effectively when I'm not super angry and anything much in particular... today my goal will be to seek inspiration! Come on world, make me angry!

We bought a house... weeehhheee

YAY... we finally got one how awesome!

I win, cause I'm the one that got to bid at the auction - although the house did get passed in some maybe that doesn't count...

We move in very soon, in less than 30 days now!

Stay tuned to news of our hopeless attempts to renovate and garden in the future, this is going to be funny! A picture of the front of out new palace is shown below! I can't wait to show it to everyone - Corinne and Lina will actually get to see it, as we settle on the day they arrive!

Looking for houses sucks...

There's not much to say, other than I am totally, totally, over it...

Just give us a house so we can stop looking, that's what I think!
