I got to bid...

After about 2 months of looking for a house, I finally got to bid at an auction - we didn't win the house, but at least I got to put my hand up a couple of times... YAY!

It was a pretty nerve racking experience actually, my heart was pumping pretty hard and I was a little scared, but in the end someone paid heaps more than us and got the property... oh well, hopefully we'll have better luck next time!

Crochet!!!

I can't believe I am blogging this but I've taught myself to crochet - I know that for many people crochet is an older lady thing, but it was a challenge to teach myself how to do it, and I quite enjoy it... The other plus is that I have actually managed to make two things!

I think this will probably be one of those winter things, as it's better to sit doing something like this when watching TV, otherwise I get a little bored. I've shared my creations with you all, the first thing I made was a baby blanket, which is for a friend who is about to have her second baby, the second was made for Nic's 30th birthday!
